Former Head of Department of Public Administration University of Dhaka. Mr. Habib Md. Zafarullah passed from Adamjee school in 1967. He joined the Dhaka University as a teacher in the Department of Public Administration. He was the 1st President of EXSAACSC during 1979-1980. Ambassador Ashfaqur Rahman
A career diplomat, he was for 36 years with the Government and retired in 2007. During his long career he was Bangladesh High Commissioner to Singapore (1996-2001), Ambassador to Germany (2001-2004) and Ambassador to China (2004-2007). He was also a senior diplomat in Moscow, Stockholm, Teheran and London. Before that he belonged to the erstwhile Civil service of Pakistan (CSP) and served in several administrative posts. At present he chairs the influential Centre for Foreign Affairs Studies, Dhaka. He was elected as the 6th and 7th th President of EXSAACSC for the terms 1985 -86 & 1987-88.
